Vintage WB Mfg Co Art Deco Salt Pepper Shaker Set Silver Bakelite Base

Condition: Fair condition. Small dent in one of the shakers, Tarnished

Material: Silver-plated Metal, Bakelite
Features: Art Deco ribbed design, Egg-shaped shakers, Rectangular black base, Silverplate finish

These were in a horrible condition when I found them, I actually thought they were black. I had no idea what was behind all that grime. 
I only listed as fair condition since they are still tarnished, there is a dent in one of the shakers, and scratches.
I may not have gotten all the grime off, but I sure tried.

A very cool piece preliminary research looks to be that these are from the 30s/40s art deco period. The base could be early plastic and not Bakelite, I am unclear here.
